NEW WORK: We have recently launched a new website for SANYO.
SANYO has recently announced the launch of its national ‘Make a Noise’ competition to encourage and inspire music students and enthusiasts throughout the UK to record their own music and compare it to tracks from all over the country. Calling on amateur musicians to record a demo showcasing their talent on the SANYO Xacti ICR-XPS01M Linear PCM sound recorder, the competition puts € 5,000 (approx. £4,200) of music equipment up for grabs for the winning school.
Working closely with Soundcloud we created a site that allows participants to upload their latest tracks and listeners to vote for their favourite tunes.
Singer/Songwriter gets a brand new website!
We recently worked with the talented North London singer/songwriter, Zarif, to produce not one but two gorgeous websites. Phase one was launched before Christmas to bring her social presences under one roof and allow Zarif a space to promote from. Phase two launched this month and aims to showcase Zarif’s huge talent! It’s powered by the old faithful Wordpress and we have pushed it to it’s limits. The site has everything; a blog, gallery, video library, press section, news, audio library and more! We’ve utilised Zarif’s use of the web and brought in her Youtube vids, Soundcloud albums, Tweets and Facebook followers. The content management system is almost completely at the control of Zarif herself and after a little tutorial, she soon got the hang of it all.
A fantastic job all round from George Owens on design and Simon Brown on web development. And not to mention a very proactive and all round lovely client! This is just the start of this relationship we think. Watch this space for future music and design related happenings with Zarif and The House!
Enjoy and step into www.zarifworld.com

MADE WITH JOY - the brand, the ethos and the first product - tasty new Lassi drinks
Brief: Design and launch a brand and a beverage in the UK but at the same time create a brand, which is not just about drinks.
Team:
Brand Design - Michael Murdoch (Creative Director), Elsie Wong / Brand Strategy & Campaign - Darshan Sanghrajka / Web - Alex Thomas
It’s live! Over the year, we’ve had so much fun working on this branding and design project…From naming, to branding, to packaging and to the website itself, we have helped create the full brand. Of course it’s always brilliant working with such an ace client - thanks team Made With Joy!
Taking inspiration from ethnic and Asian styles we have developed a brand which should appeal to yummy mummies as well as children. Of course anyone can buy and enjoy the drink too!
The bright colours hint at the intensity of colour found in Indian saris and a foil label on the labels hint at the jewellery and bangles, so loved in India. Look closely and you’ll notice a few hidden gems in the new identity too.
Take a look at the website now and look carefully for the hidden links to interest pages. Most importantly taste the drink.
Visit Made With Joy now and tell us what you think :-)
If you love what you see, we’d love to hear from you, if you’d like us to work with your brand - drop us an email at cuppatea@thehouselondon.com and we’ll boil the kettle and keep the biscuits ready!
ps…in the next phase of the project, we’ll be working with the client to market and promote the tasty Lassi drinks. Keep an eye out for some happy surprises…

We also developed two bespoke Twitter feeds which bring in “positive” and “negative” tweets about work and job hunting providing a live update on what’s happening out in the real world.
Have a look and let us know what you think by sending us a tweet @thehouselondon
